I love the adaptability of the Pet Adobe 4-Tier 35 Inch Cat Tree and Condo. On a thick carpet like mine, the fully assembled cat tree, while very sturdy, was slightly unsteady when my 10 pound, 6 year old tabby would climb aboard the top (4th tier) perch. Figuring that might explain why he was tending to use a nearby foot stool instead for his window-gazing, I simply removed the 4th tier perch and its attached sisal-covered pillar. Bingo! He started using the 3rd tier (the "condo's" roof) as the tree's perch, and using the tree as much as I hoped he would. My cat does also use the "condo" part of the tree from time to time, and I expect that to increase. I also like the gray color of the fabric. It isn't plush, but that doesn't seem to bother my cat. Unfortunately, as I expected, I haven't seen my cat use the posts for scratching, perhaps because he may be too big/tall. I think they're probably better suited for kittens than my adult-sized cat. So, if using on hard flooring, I can recommend using the full 4 tiers of this cat tree. And, if placing it on carpeting, try removing the top tier and top post to see if your little friend is happier with using it with just the 3 tiers.

My cats really like the enclosure on the 2nd level. It's a little hidey hole for them. They all like the top level so they can look out the window and chat at the birds and chipmunks that hang in my yard. Wish it was a little more level. If it had adjustable feet it would be a little more secure but it's still pretty nice.

Unstable cat condo

I strongly do not recommend this cat bed. It says that it is stable, but it is not. The first time my cat went to try to climb it, it started to tip. I grabbed

I strongly do not recommend this cat bed. It says that it is stable, but it is not. The first time my cat went to try to climb it, it started to tip. I grabbed her fast. It also has a bad design layout with it being stacks, instead of staggered. Not a good climb/jump design.
