Can the carrier hold your small pet (up to 16#) as well as the supplies in a separate area while you are evacuating?

The carrier is designed to hold a total of 16 pounds. A cinch bag is provided inside the carrier that holds all of your cat's emergency supplies. When you open up the carrier, you would pull out the cinch bag, put your cat inside the carrier, and then carry the cinch bag over the top of the carrier like a backpack or duffel, on your back or shoulder, keeping your hands free to manage other essential items you might need to evacuate with.

This kit is prepared with enough emergency food and water to sustain one cat for up to 72 hours while the carrier is designed to carry up to 16 pounds of weight.
