Mixed feed back
The clip on the wand broke immediately upon first playtime. The cats love the attachments nonetheless. The fish are meh as other reviews have said. They’d work best in a circle bowl. Ours kept lumping up together in a corner. One of the cats was fascinated enough to stare at them even when lumped together. So overall product quality is poor, but the idea did have my cats interested.
Do not Order
I ordered this for the fish. I do not need the wand or attachments, I have many already. The fish worked only for a few minutes. They come with 8 replacement batteries. Each fish takes 2 batteries. I replaced them and only one fish worked for maybe 15 minutes. Cool product IF it worked. I wasted 20 bucks on this, don't make the same mistake.
Awesome Wand Toy
I love the Pet Fit For Life wand! All my cats really love the different attachments. The fish for the water bowl were duds. My cats didn't like them at all.
These fish do not work.
The wand toy is great. No issues there. Unfortunately, the fish are probably the most disappointing cat toy ever. The fish, straight out of the package, barely swim. The swimming action is more like an occasional flap of the tail fin. I was pleased that the package came with spare batteries, as I assumed the batteries were the issue. I replaced all the batteries (and yes, I put them in correctly) and the outcome was worse than what I started with. After adding the new batteries, only one fish displayed the lights and NO fish were swimming. I would recommend the wand toy. If you selected this item because it came with the fish, I would pick a different toy.
Interesting mix of items
My kitten absolutely loves the wand with the purple feather(?) attachment. It is made well and doesn't come apart easily. I appreciate that the chord is thicker than on some some wands and doesn't get wrapped around the kitten's neck as easily as some other thinner ones (we had a scary few seconds when that happened with our old one). I have not put the bunch of feathers on the wand yet. I didn't realize the swimming fish were included in this order. They interested my kitten for about a half an hour the first time I put it out for her and for about 30 seconds the second time I put it out. The batteries in the fish don't last very long. I certainly wouldn't buy this package for the fish (rather messy on the kitchen floor too), but the wand with the original attachment continues to hold her interest.
Would buy again
This package included interactive fish, which my cat played with for hours. She also loves cat wands so it was a great set overall. I would buy this again in the future. The only thing I would say on improvement is the wand could be more sturdy although it’s more sturdy than most wands I’ve bought from the local pet stores so I can’t really complain.
Pawsome Set!
I love this set! You have multiple toys that are not only entertaining for my two kittos, but my family, too. The wand comes in two pieces, making it easy to store. You have two attachments with the wand, the feathers and what I call a purple worm, which you can make wiggle like a real worm and my kittos love it. The four fish come with batteries pre-installed, but also come with one extra set of batteries for each fish, which is a big deal, because most things now don’t come with any batteries, much less two sets of batteries for each fish. Time the fish hit the water, they start swimming. They don’t swim fast, which to me is a good thing, because it allows the cats to be more “paws on,” as well as an enjoyable source of entertainment for them to just sit and watch the fish swim around. When they’re done playing, just take the fish out of the water, gently shake the water off, and they automatically cut off (I placed them on a paper towel to air dry). For the fish, I would suggest using a clear container (placed on a towel) that has more length than height, because you want them to be able to put their paws in the water to play. I hope I can find additional attachments in the future, but if not, we are all very happy with this product.
