On a full charge the heartbeat unit will last approximately 18 hours. There is also a feature that allows it to run for 2 hours before stopping. Press for the 2 hour function, press and hold for 5 seconds for continued power.

Picked up stray puppy, about 5 weeks old. The heartbeat goes inside stuffed dog toy and helped calm him as he was the only puppy here. While he gets socialized with other dogs under supervision, he isn't with them at night so that and a heated bed have been a doG send.

The fact that this is rechargeable is such a bonus. And I can choose the length of the heartbeat. For my newborn foster kittens this is just what they need to help

The fact that this is rechargeable is such a bonus. And I can choose the length of the heartbeat. For my newborn foster kittens this is just what they need to help them sleep. It lasts a long time on one charge, which is a huge plus. I wish I could find a similar “purring” sound generator.
