How big is the large when opened? What are the dimensions of each side?

What are the dimensions when it is closed. I assume the dimensions listed are when it is open.

When the sides are closed, the Medium measures 27 x 21 x 21 inches , the Large measures 32 x 23 x 23 inches, the X-Large measures 35 x 24 24 inches. The measurements are listed as Length x Width x Height.

The dimensions listed in the 'Size' tab are the measurements of when the crate is closed.

Cat Carrier for Kitchen Counter when I feed the Dogs

My cat, Hildegard loves this "cat tent." She watches me work in the kitchen, takes naps with her "toy kittens," and enjoys the view while I feed the dogs. Great

My cat, Hildegard loves this "cat tent." She watches me work in the kitchen, takes naps with her "toy kittens," and enjoys the view while I feed the dogs. Great for keeping her in while I get 3 dogs outside and then back in because she is restricted to the house because of feline leukemia. The only thing I would recommend to the designer/manufacturer is to make the roof sturdier so that she could also lie on the roof.

I did not realize the size of this thing. I got it for my cats thinking it would give them some room when traveling. This can fit my 2 medium/large dogs together

Will not stay upright

Even when not extended it will not stay upright. This is the 3rd or 4th carrier from Chewy and the others all work fine. (Different brand)

Explandable

My Pomeranian likes to sleep in the Travel Dog Crate. My only issue is the zippers on the flaps are exposed when the sides are open, which gives access to my Pom

Package came damaged, zippers don't work

I am so sad that this is such a disappointment; I was really looking forward to having this for my dogs during my travels, but I first noticed the plastic package

I am so sad that this is such a disappointment; I was really looking forward to having this for my dogs during my travels, but I first noticed the plastic package it came in was ripped, which is fine, but it is a carrying case. Then, when I took it apart to open it, the wires that are intended to hold it together were broken, and part of the fabric has ripped and pulled it through. Also, when I attempt to zip the kennel together, the zipped area that I just zipped immediately unzips and renders the zipper unusable. I will be requesting a refund for this, unfortunately :( I really wanted this to be my go to for my dogs.

Great size and price

Used to transport 2- 12 weeks old Maine coon kittens home. Use for any longer trips with them. The expandable sides prove handy for a litter box.
