Needed to give the cat a quick, safe escape from her dog playmate... this did the trick. The cat & dog are the same size, but have different abilities, so this worked perfect & is easy to remove. A stool was placed on one side, so the cat jumps up to the stool seat, then down. She rarely just jumps over (a cat trait). It's put up everynight to keep the dog from roaming the house and allows the cat to join us when she's ready. Yes, seems a bit flimsy at first, but I've used it 6 months (every night) & it's still together & working like the first time. Not recommended for dogs that jump hurdles whether the small or large as it's not that high.
