Most of the dog coats available on Chewy are the same thing. This one is unique, however, and may have qualities one would appreciate when choosing a coat for your pup. I wanted to avoid velcro, as that collects hair and becomes worthless as time goes on. The fasteners on this coat are sturdy metal with a t-shaped link that was tricky to close the first time i tried but got easier with a little practice. The materials and stitching are good quality. The size was difficult to choose because my dog has a unique shape so I bought a size up and it was far too large. Going a size down and hopefully its a good fit.

Ouida made short work of destroying this coat - as I went for my purse, she slipped the non adjustable front in her mouth and chewed the buckle straps apart. The product was well sewn and a nice weight for 30 degree weather walking. Adjustable straps would be an improvement. I also purchased a small one for Nadine - she doesn’t like wearing it either so I will donate it to local no-kill shelter.

I was worried they wouldn't like it due noise or the change but from the minute it was running they loved it. It's so quiet I don't hear it at all. They love it & we love it!
Not usable (also not navy and not large--but it came as ordered))
The coat is weighted down along its hem, like someone sewed beads along its entire periphery. The fit doesn't work--there are two elastic bands meant to go under

Great Wuality!
My Dog needed (1) Suze Larger, although he needs to loose weight and that is why his Vet. Changed his diet. Maybe, next time around he will be in this size anyway

Very thin material-not like the photos
It was very very big on my 35 lb dog. I expected the material to be stiffer/thicker. It is pretty thin. I was not very happy with it. I had to add velcro to fit

Difficult fasteners
Coat is warm, cute but difficult to fasten. Metal T clips pushed through a metal loop are difficult for me with a small dog as they clip under the belly. Chewy did
