This bone is wonderful if you want a moderately satisfied dog and several broken toes. It is is hard as a rock, and much heavier than I expected. I bought it expecting a rubbery chew bone, not a rock hard plastic bone. If it gets left in the middle of the floor, it is like an inglorious combination of legos and furniture legs, leaving everyone in the house with bruised feet and broken toes. I would only recommend it if your dog is a hard core chewer and you regularly wear steel toed boots around the house. Tongue in cheek aside, it is certainly durable and my dog enjoys it as much as any chew toy, but it is way too heavy so she usually skips over it for an easier toy to carry around. Not a product I would recommend or ever purchase again.
My medium sized German Shepherd was VERY happy with this bone! I ended up shaving off the chewed bits several times so she wouldn't swallow a lot of it, but think it was worth it.
I had ordered one but both dogs enjoyed it, so I ordered 3 the next time in hopes they would last longer. Unfortunately they last a week or less before particles fall off and my dogs eat them. They didn’t work well for a full grown mastiff and a puppy unfortunately . For a minimal chewer they might be great but unfortunately not for us with constant chewers. They get very sharp.
My dogs love these; the 5 lb Yorkie and 70 lb Lab. These is the second purchase, the first was the smaller size but the Yorkie took over it so I got a larger one so they wouldn’t have to share.
Our 3yr old loves mint so I was sure this would be a hit because it claims "infused with mint flavoring to stimulate the senses". She sniffed at it once and walked away. It has been offered several times as well as placed with other stick chew toys and she has never once chosen it.
Wish I could send you a video of my British Cream Retriever! She went wild when the Chewy box arrived then ran ecstaticly around the house with her new bone! I don't think she has ever been so happy! I'm so glad I bought TWO!! .
I have 2 big dogs and they Absolutely love this toy. They take turns chewing on this daily.
I bought this in hopes that it would last more than a week. My English Bulldog can destroy every toy. He rips apart tennis balls like they're pupperoni. This toy, though, is practically indestructible. I've had it for 10 days already and it's still chewable. I will definitely buy more of these.
My dogs seem to really like these. I ordered them because my dogs were constantly stealing their cousins’ Barkbones. My only complaint is that the order page said “buy three get one free” and that didn’t happen. No free bone for me.
George seems to love this bone, chews on it frequently. It does make a difference with his breath, much improved, hopefully it is helping his teeth. My only complaint would be this bone is kinda heavy and really hard, so if your dog carries it around, it can bang some things up! (like your shins!)
