Loves them!

Product Received Does Not Match What I Ordered

Our dog is prone to getting pancreatitis so we look for products with low fat content (no more than 10%.) The minimum fat % on the Chewy’s website is listed as 6%

Our dog is prone to getting pancreatitis so we look for products with low fat content (no more than 10%.) The minimum fat % on the Chewy’s website is listed as 6% but the package we received says 22%. I recalculated for the dry matter basis and the fat is 6.7% versus 23.9%. The other difference between the package description and Chewy’s product description is that the package says “Beef Kidney dog and cat treats” and Chewy’s says “Beef Kidney holistic dog treats” Note: The other categories such as Protein, Fiber, and water do not match either but those are not consequential. I do not know if this is a good product or not and I do not want to downgrade the company Pet Tao which is why I gave a middle of the road rating of 3 stars. But in this case Chewy deserves 1 or 2 stars because the shipping was on time and packaging adequate.

These must smell good through the bag. I put the bag in the cats' box of food & treats without opening it. I heard crunching and crackling in the kitchen. Rocky got into their box and had chewed through the bag. Usually I break giblets into cat-size pieces and sprinkle them into their cat food.
