Are there any side effects of this supplement? Vomiting, etc.?
Answer by • Aug 18, 2020
As an all natural product, the Blood Sugar Gold Dog & Cat Supplement is generally very well tolerated. Allergies to herbs, like any product, can happen, but they are extremely rare and usually very minor. It does contain some liver support, which can have detoxifying effects. This may include some slight changes in stool for a time, but this is not very common nor should it be severe. It is only recommended to use this supplement if a diagnosis of Diabetes has been confirmed by a vet. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. Product may be hypoglycemic. May heighten the effect of blood-sugar-lowering drugs. Monitor blood sugar levels closely if administering this product with blood sugar lowering drugs. A veterinarian can help to ensure optimal blood sugar levels are maintained.
Takes a week or two but slowly I see that is keeps Toby’s insulin more manageable and I need to use less insulin.
