The following is a general guideline for feeding Calcium Phosphorus. This feeding level may be adjusted to the pet’s requirement for additional calcium and phosphorus or to your veterinarian’s advice on the feeding of additional calcium and phosphorus. For adult dog's maintenance, feed 1/2 tablet per 22 pounds of body weight, daily. For growing puppies, late gestation or lactation: Feed 1 tablet per 22 pounds of body weight, daily . It is recommended that dogs larger than 66 pounds receive no more than 3 tablets per day. When fed according to the above directions for dogs, Calcium Phosphorus supplies approximately 60% of the National Research Council’s recommendations for calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D.
For adult cat's maintenance, feed 1/4 tablet per 4.5 pounds of body weight, daily. For growing kittens, late gestation or lactation: Feed 1/2 tablet per 4.5 pounds of body weight, daily. It is recommended that cats larger than 6.75 pounds receive no more than 1 tablet per day. This level of feeding will provide approximately 50% of the National Research Council’s recommendations for calcium and phosphorus for cats.
