I have using this product for a couple of months, now on the second bottle. Unfortunately my cats hyperthyroid condition is to elevated for an over the counter product. I believe it would work with a lesser elevation.

Didn’t work for my kitty. I think it made her worse and she died shortly after. I do not know if her death and using this product are related. She was old and pretty sick when I gave her this. I was trying everything to help her.

Easy to administer

It does take some time and thought to get used to a pinch as a measurement. A huge plus is that the medicine is so easy to mix into food, or her favorite treat

It does take some time and thought to get used to a pinch as a measurement. A huge plus is that the medicine is so easy to mix into food, or her favorite treat. After losing her brothers to Hyperthyroidism, last year, and seeing her losing weight like they had, I wanted to try a gentle treatment for Miss Lucy. It has been 10 months she has been on this treatment. She is now 18 years old. She has gained a pound of weight from last year, her fur is soft, and she seems happy and healthy, and is eating well. I say a prayer of thanks when I see her resting comfortably. It doesn't cure hyperthyroidism, but it is worth trying if other treatments aren't tolerated well by your kitty.

Our lovable lab had been losing so much weight and seemed to be overly hyper when he was resting. I felt he was withering away as I noticed his spine was becoming ever more visible and the fat in his body was all practically gone. We were so sad to see him going through this and did not want to subject him to drugs. His bloodwork results showed a high level for hyperthyroid. He has an upcoming ultrasound appointment but was scheduled weeks away. In the meantime, his symptoms continued. In doing a Google search for natural remedies, Pet Alive Thyroid Soothe popped up. I read its content carefully and thought to give it a try. Our lab weighs over 70 pounds and so I immediately used 1/4th of a capsule on his food. We began to notice an immediate change. He wasn't breathing heavily anymore and seemed to be his old self again. Another thing that we did is to also change the food he eats. I cook a pot of white rice for the week and save it in the fridge. Feeding Time: I measure 1/3 cup of the cooked cooked white rice, add a hard boiled egg nicely mashed with a fork, and half of a small StarKist wild caught Light Tuna in Water 2.6 oz sealed packet of tuna (I save the other half in the fridge for his next meal where I'll also mix it together with rice and a hard boiled egg or white chicken) and mix it altogether. I alternate between tuna and only white pieces of roasted chicken. It helps to buy/have the already roasted chicken sold at Demoulas Market Basket or any other place that sells it. He still has his regular dry food but not every day as before. I believe that his body needs a break from it. He'll have his dry food mixed with a boiled egg or an entire 2.6 oz packet of the tuna brand and option mentioned above but only twice a week now. We have since seen him put on weight and doing well. The ultrasound appointment is coming up. We will see if there is any tumor and will know more of the cause of the high thyroid level, if it is still high and what options we have to work with. We'll see. Hope this helps.
