Soft but oddly sparse

I wanted to love this and my foster dog is on the fence too. The faux fur side is soft but the sparse, you can see and feel through it very easily. I will keep it

I wanted to love this and my foster dog is on the fence too. The faux fur side is soft but the sparse, you can see and feel through it very easily. I will keep it for the sherpa side, but if it did not have that it would be too thin. It is not obviously a dog blanket and I like that.

The shag side

I really didn't pay attention to the actual size and dimension of the blanket. I was kind of hoping it was going to cover my whole bed because he is a dirty dog

Worked at first

The first few times the blanket worked well catching urine leaks from my elderly dog. But after a few washes it seemed like the blanket wasn't waterproof any more

The first few times the blanket worked well catching urine leaks from my elderly dog. But after a few washes it seemed like the blanket wasn't waterproof any more and the urine was going through it. But the blanket is very pretty and soft on both sides, so if you are using it as a typical pet blanket it's very nice.

This is not as heavy as the Petami covers I use on the couch, but it is perfect for a lightweight throw across the bed where the dogs like to lay. The blue cover

protects dog bed and crate pads

I use blankets over the dog bed and in the crates so the dogs can "dig" and mold their bed the way they like. These make perfect replacements for the the blankets

I use blankets over the dog bed and in the crates so the dogs can "dig" and mold their bed the way they like. These make perfect replacements for the the blankets when they need to be changed out, and the dog's digging isn't entirely focused on the bed or mat but the blankets are moved around just enough for them to create their space. Even have a few dogs that suck on their blankets as they fall asleep.
