Dog Went Blind using this product!!!!

I thought that I would try this color for my dogs. It worked well on one of them but caused the other to go bling. IT was some kind of reaction to the coller ingredients that caused a infection and swelling on her optic nerve. My vet could not figure it out and sent us to a specialist. over $2000 later we went home with Antibiotics and steroids. That cleared up the problem. Was super scary and I am sure it was a iscolated incident. I would rather say something though just in case. Would hate for anyone else to have this same problem.

Allergic reaction

My dogs each have a rash after wearing this collar for two days. I've had to remove their identification collars as well, as anything touching the irritation causes them to cry out in pain.

did not work !

This item did not prevent the fleas at all on my dogs. I have corgis and they were given flea baths before putting on these collars. I let them dry and even applied a flea spray and they still were infested after the collars were placed properly. Highly do not recommend this item.

After buying this product, my dog had a moderate allergic reaction, so I stopped using the collar on him as soon as we discovered the rash on his neck. I know that allergic reactions can happen with flea and tick collars, so I'm not too upset with that part of my order. What is irritating is trying to find information on returns/refunds so that I can report the allergy to Chewy and return this product for a refund.

great for the price

I keep our yard pretty clean at all times so I don’t have a huge issue at home with fleas and ticks but I still use this product just as a safety precaution. I’ve used these collars for about 2 years and they do pretty well at repelling fleas and ticks. I don’t wait until 6 months to replace the collar because the smell dies off after a while. Only down side is the collars can tear easily if you tug on it, for the price it’s a pretty decent product.

Tick collar

Well I have 2 dogs both had tick and flea collars on, one of my dogs got a tick, I caught it quick though, it does say in the directions it takes two weeks to be fully effective. My dog only had it on for 2 days.
