For adult cats, feed approximately 3 cans per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. For kittens, offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount. Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding. The amount to feed will vary based upon age, activity level, breed, size, and environment.
Switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
My kitty really likes this product. It's grain free and the only one she'll eat, so she gives it a 5*!
picky cats like it . no diarrhea from this. will get again if there’s a sale
I have 4 cats and 1 is allergic to chicken so I'm try to buy food that they all can eat and this one is almost a win. 3 of my cats will eat this some of the time. That's a win for my house.
None of my cats like this one. I've opened 3 cans so far and most gets left in their dish.
Is it just me, or do you hate it when a company makes their container just a little smaller for the same price (or more!), hoping we won't notice? I refuse.
When I saw what appeared to be peas in the mix, I thought, oh no, my finicky crew will probably not eat this. It has very healthy ingredients (which has sometimes hampered my cats' willingness to consume a product...they tend toward perhaps junkier cat food that they are more used to); so frankly, I was rather surprised that that my band of felines actually like this food! So very pleased that this food is a go! It is a bit chunky and with a fair amount of liquid or broth which a lot of mine prefer; but I do understand that some prefer more the pate versions of food. Since I have several cats under my roof, it can be a bit hard to tell who is actually eating it, but it does seem to vanish which I take as a good sign!
My cat is so picky liking only gravy types, those with cheese bits, and creamy types that it was a gamble to buy this food. It was on sale and I bought it because it had a high liquid content and he loves broth but he sort of picks at it and leaves it behind at times and then doesn't want to eat it later. It may be a wonderful food that other cats like but he is hard to please.
Whitey-Ty is 15 years old and is in super great health-no arthritis, is playful and loves her canned food. Her food however must be the right texture. No pate for her. Petite Cuisine L'il Violet's fits the bill all around. she loves it and it good for her with high ratings.
He was getting tired of his wet food so I tried a can out before ordering a case. He gobbled it up.
My cats love Petite Cuisine. I just wish it were more affordable.
