For adult cats, feed approximately 3 cans per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. For kittens, offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount. Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding. The amount to feed will vary based upon age, activity level, breed, size, and environment.
Switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.
This catfood is perfect for my elderly cat who doesn’t like to drink water and tends to get borderline dehydrated. I pour a can of this in with a can of his regular food ( chicken in gravy). She slurps it all up and gets excited when I put the bowl out. Her coat looks so much better after 2 weeks The rest of my cats are indifferent and can take it or leave it. I’m happy that it’s perfect for my reluctant drinker !
This is an all time favorite food/flavor of one of our cats. I wish it was less expensive, but I'm able to offer it to him every so often as a treat.
I thought, because my kitties all love the Petite Cuisine Baby Bluebells Chicken & Pumpkin flavor, that they would love this, but none of the the four we have would touch it. It's not the same formula, obviously. I thought it would be a winner but glad I only ordered the one case.
I bought the variety pack and my cat seemed to love this chicken entree, so I bought a bunch of them. To my surprise, they had a funny smell and the cat wouldn’t touch the newly delivered batch. Now I have 20+ cans of unusable cat food.
Price had already increased then jumped 10% the more I bought it! Disturbing marketing process by Chewy to loyal customers !
