Why is this not recommended for small breed dogs?

Disappointed

I've had tripe treats from Petkind before that were soft and could be broken up into smaller pieces. That's what I thought I was buying. However, these are hard

I've had tripe treats from Petkind before that were soft and could be broken up into smaller pieces. That's what I thought I was buying. However, these are hard as rock long strips and most likely a choking hazard for a bulldog. I think the description of this item should include a photo so people know what they are buying. If I had seen a picture of these and knew I could not cut these into smaller pieces, I wouldn't have purchased. I bought 2 (expensive) bags that will be donated. I'm sure my dog would love this treat but I cannot give it to him.

All dogs like tripe treats, and my dogs love them. They are soft, so older dogs can chew them. Also, they can easily be cut up into smaller pieces and used for

My only complaint is the cost. They are too expensive. Chewy has other brands of tripe treats of equal quality, and you will get more for less.

Green Tripe Treat

I give it 4 stars only because it’s a bit pricey, but my 38lb dog absolutely loves these! I break them in half & give it to her for a special treat.
