The one I received only has five prongs on it. At first my animals were afraid of it. Once they got use to it they seemed to enjoy getting scratched with it. I tried it on my arm and I think it's a little rough. On my pets it doesn't seem to collect their hair.

I chose this product for my senior cat who has a medium length coat. As it starts to get warmer this time of year, he starts to shed more. At first he didn't know
I chose this product for my senior cat who has a medium length coat. As it starts to get warmer this time of year, he starts to shed more. At first he didn't know what to think about it, then he started to enjoy it and when I'd stop brushing, he'd come back for more. It did not remove alot of hair yet, so I gave it four stars. Will continue to use as he starts to shed more and hopefully it will help remove the excess. Item is sturdy, flexible and easy to use and clean.
Not a fan
Can it brush your pets hair? sure it can. Does it trap the brushed off hair? no it doesnt. Its very messy. I dont know how thise would work on a nervous cat but

I dont know how thise would work on a nervous cat but my cat loves to be brushed, i usually use a grooming glove or brush that traps the brushed away hair keeping pick up neat. This rake brushes away the hair but it just falls off the brush & you can to keep trapping it every pass or just let it all fly around.

The tool is nice and light weight, and the cat didn't mind at all that I was brushing his fur. The length of the handle was good and the bright green color made it easy to find in all the cat paraphernalia

This is really helping his skin open up and get that dander off of him. The dogs also love this groomer. I didn't realize how much old hair they had. This is a keeper. I need to order some for friends.

Cats did not enjoy.
It did groom my cats but they hates it. I tested it on my own arm and it feels very scratchy and rough so I understand why they didn’t enjoy it. The “fingers” are

Our cat loved being brushed with this tool and it did remove excess fur, however it didn't trap it so the fur just flew all over everything. She is a long haired
