I have 5 dogs multiple sizes and use a large water bowl does it matter how much each dog drinks to work? Can they get to much of the product?

Does this product get rid of existing plaque?

This dental additive is formulated to help remove plaque and tartar. Although, it is very effective at attaining hard-to-reach areas and can support your dog’s optimum dental health, supporting both fresh breath and healthy gums. We would still advise you to brush your dog’s teeth as much as you can.

Teddy won’t let us brush his teeth, so we do several things to get at the plaque and tartar. This water additive seems to soften the plaque enough so that when he chews on dental sticks and toys, the nasty stuff is scraped off. Our own dental hygienist explained how this works, and she uses this brand on her dogs. Teddy has never had any issues with stomach upset, and he apparently has no objections to it’s smell or taste. So far, so good. It's not a stand-alone miracle treatment, but it seems to be helping.
