Can this product be used on my dog's paws, and are the ingredients safe if she licks her paws?

Apply directly onto the affected area(s) up to 3 times daily, or as directed by a veterinarian. Do not allow the animal to lick the treated areas until dry to prevent ingestion. Wash hands after applying the product.

Leaves Gross Residue

I have a frenchie who has a few allergies that cause itching and hair loss. I bought this for those moments where his itching is bad, but we can’t get to the vet

I have a frenchie who has a few allergies that cause itching and hair loss. I bought this for those moments where his itching is bad, but we can’t get to the vet right away for a cytopoint injection to give him some relief. Or for when his skin is dry. I used this on him last night and omg what a mistake. It’s the pinkish foam that smells kinda funky - a chemical type smell - but worst of all it leaves this slimy residue on his fur that then gets on other things. I followed the directions exactly. So then I ended up with a chemically smelly, greasy, itchy dog. Ive had to give him multiple baths and use grooming wipes since and we’re not even 24 hours since I applied it and pinkish flakes from this foam keep appearing at the end of his fur after every waterless bath and I still am finding spots where it just feels gross to touch him. It didn’t even help his itching so it wasn’t even worth making him greasy. Even after applying this to him, my hands had a coating on them I just couldn’t get off. This stuff is so disgusting. There’s only one other review that raved, whcih is why I took the chance on it. so I figured this product needs way more reviews of peoples experiences because my experience was certainly not worthy of 5 stars not even 1 star
