Best Shampoo for skin infections!
By ChrissyRad on Jan 15, 2021
My dachshund has reoccurring staph and itchy skin infections due to allergies on his belly. This is the ONLY thing that helps keep it at bay. The shampoo sits on your pets skin for 10 minutes then you rinse. The infection dries up within a day. My vet has recommended at least two baths a week, but now he is infection free! I still use this when bathing to get any itchies off my pup-smells great and highly recommended. The only downside is it dries out my pups fur, so it's not as luminous as it normally is!

My vet recommended
By Diana on Feb 2, 2021
I originally received this shampoo from Monty's vet for his flakey and itchy skin. He suffers from such terrible skin allergies. It worked wonders! I used twice a week and after one week he was noticeably better. He scratched less, the flaky skin problem went away, and fur started to come back in where he had lost it. This is the only shampoo I use now and I'm so happy that Chewy carries it!

Smells and works amazing
By Mudbuster on Jan 1, 2021
Seriously worked wonders for us! We were having some scratching and biting and using this regularly as our vet recommended has helped a bunch! We use it once a week and try to leave it on for as close to 10 minutes as we can get and he smells so great and it really washes him so well!

Great for pups who have grass allergies
By JeannetteinHB on Nov 9, 2020
My vet recommended I bathe my Frenchie with this shampoo paying special attention to paws and in between toes 3-4 times a week. My Frenchie is allergic to grass and her paws would get itchy, red and inflamed. This shampoo really helps keep the itchies away.

Best soap so far
By BlueBuddy on Aug 17, 2020
I have a Blue-nose Pitbull with a bad case of the seasonal itchies. Until recently I'd been using their Malaseb shampoo and it worked great until it didn't. This year my pup broke out into hives all over, per usual, but the Malaseb just wasnt doing the trick this time. Her vet recommended something with 4% Chlorhexidene Gluconate in it and of course Chewy had it. After the first time using it, the bumps started to disappear. A this point she was getting two baths a week because her reaction was so bad and by the third bath with this soap, the bumps were gone. I highly recommend this but of course, speak with your veterinarian first.

By Jennl on Nov 1, 2020
Easy to use and my dog's skin issue improved after a few uses. She was much happier and her hair is growing back where she had some hair loss.

Treats fungus
By Longfellow on Jun 29, 2020
I use this on the advice of my vet to treat my dog's fungus infections. Since he's a bit larger than others in the house and a hassle to get in and out of the tub I've started simply mixing up the shampoo with water and soaking his feet as soon as the fungus seems to be causing problems again. It immediately settles the problem and has kept it from moving farther up his body as it had when we first faced it.
