Petlinks Purrfect Paws Cat Litter Mat

Not as helpful as I hoped

With multiple cats, we have a problem with litter even getting kicked out of the covered litter box (go figure! Everyone does). This is too small to be that effective on the outside of a litter box. Also doesn’t dump out as cleanly as I thought.

Quality has deteriorated

I have bought this mat several times in the past and it was a solid, thick, rubber mat. Now it is thin and flimsy. The edges curl up and I can't get them flat. When my cat walks on it, it slips and folds. Yet another consumer product that has gone from good quality to poor quality.

quality and color has changed

I have had this mat in medium size gray and it’s been great for a few years. Over time our senior cat has peed over his box onto the mat enough that it’s time for a replacement. Well it came and it’s VERY different. The gray which used to be a light gray is now a dark gray-blue. And the mat is very flimsy and feels cheap compared to what it was. I will be returning it and finding a new brand.

It seems to be a consistent theme and one that I quit even trying to fix but if you order gray (it's supposed to be a light gray as I've used this product for years) and they send navy blue. Most of the time they work well if you use the nubby side up rather than the open hole side. This order of two had both mats crinkled along the edges on both ends with both mats. I needed them and needed to change out the pans/mats so I accepted the issues. I generally would give a higher rating but those issues are irritating.

Cat Litter Mat Is Great!

Generous in size and fits quite well under his box. Next purchase I make will be for a new litter box; no matter what size I choose, this mat will easily accommodate it.

Caused a Mess

It is waterproof and does reduce tracking somewhat (not as much as I needed, though). However, liquid that gets onto the mat pours straight over the sides, so it ended up sluicing urine onto the floor and under my cat's litterbox, making a big, smelly mess.

Best litter mat!!!

This is THEE BEST litter mat I’ve ever used. I’ve been on the hunt for one that contains the litter and is comfy for my kitties’ paws. This is it! It’s also super easy to clean, both maintenance cleaning and deep cleaning.

You won't be disappointed in this litter mat. I have had cats all my life and believe me, that is a good many years. I am so glad I bought this. It does a great job at catching litter kicked out of the box. Never has there been a better one. I wish I would have had one like this long ago.

Got this mat as replacement for mat that came with litter (silica),because cat had begun to pee on old mat. Not even one “mistake” since! Love the mat! Also, I frequently go barefoot into closet where litterbox is housed; am stepping on much less litter!

This Mat is the perfect Size for your Litter box standard size. It fits completely all around the Box to keep the litter on there besides the floor and it easy to clean off too. I totally recommend it!
