Comfy it is
We bought a slightly larger one with wheels a while back and was looking for one that might just sit on top when rolling the larger one around the house. Both are comfortable and our 3 boys are always playing "musical carriers" even though there is a third new one but not like these 2 and an old fouth one from years ago still in use. They all want this new one and the one like it bought before with pillows inside, full view out on 3 sides and be wherever we are as we roll them around when wanted. Perfect for older cats especially which is what my boys are.
Questionable Construction but Comfy
The carrier itself seems very nice. The cushion inside is comfy, and the mesh netting allows for your cat to see out three sides and the top of the carrier. The mesh netting can also be covered by canvas panels that secure with velcro. However, the carrier I got did not have great zippers. My cat was able to push through the zipper from the inside, and escaped while traveling. Luckily nothing happened to her, but it was very worrisome. Unfortunately, the velcro panels attached over the mesh and the zippers did nothing to prevent her escape. When we got home, I tried the crate out again, and she was able to push through all the zippers with her paws and head. If your cat isn't one to try and move around while in the crate, this might be a good purchase for you. However, with the amount that my cat moves around and pushes things with her paws and face, this carrier was not a good purchase for me.

I initially purchased the smaller one but had to return it because it was too small for both to travel in together. I bought this carrier when we moved to another state. My boys (2) are NOT travelers. I had to give them calming medicine from our vet before making the trip. This carrier was large enough to give both my boys room to be together. It is a heavy, sturdy carrier. My cats are big (16 and 14lbs), which created an 30 extra pounds to carry! The pillow is extra cushy. My boys traveled in style and comfort. The side flaps can be easily rolled up or left down and attached to a Velcro strip. Vet trips are no longer dreaded, and long car trips, though few, are bearable for all. I purchased the red one.
Absolutely in love!!!
Just got it and all of us are in love with it. It's very big and sturdy, very pretty, too. Very well made. Definitely would recommend! All the cats are taking turns in it, and love it. The side flaps are velcro and come up if you want them to. The inside bars that hold up the top frame are very strong. I just love this carrier and can't wait to take one of them to the Vet in it. I just took 2 of them to the Vet with my smaller carrier, wish I would've already had this one! Very spacious and the bed in it is very soft and cozy. Here are some pics. One of the cats is half main coon and he's almost 20 lbs. He has a lot of room, if that says anything for any of you looking.
Outstanding Quality
I have purchased a number of pet carrier/crates for my cat and am impressed by the quality of construction in this unit. Some of these details include metal support braces for the horizontal and vertical dimensions to maintain stability, heavy duty fabrics and zippers, well fitting combination velcro and elastic closures for side panels, thick soft tufted bottom cushion, double French seams in contrasting thread add strength and a bit of style, and more. Crate appears durable and is attractive. Two downsides to note. First, due to the quality of construction this crate is a bit heavier that others available in the same size. Second, the two inch tufted cushion reduces the standing and sitting height available for your pet, so you may want to consider that when ordering.
Soft side carrier
19lb kitty was more relaxed on his car ride and he got plenty of air circulation in this carrier compared to hard side one. It was easier at vet office for them as he just walked out of side of carrier.
Great cat carrier
Love this carrier! The hard sided carriers with a metal bar door rattle too much and scare my cat. We bought one of these and put it on our screened porch so he would be familiar with it before actually transporting him in it. He ended up loving it and now it is his chosen place to nap in the afternoon. So . . . we bought another one for vet trips, etc. Best carrier ever!
Cheap Construction
First time using the carrier my cat split the seam holding zippers and escaped during travel. Very stressful and disappointing He just pushed with his head and seam tore open

Great Cat Carrier
This is a great carrier. I bought a second one so I have one for each cat. They can actually both fit in one, but that's probably not a great idea for mine. Anyway, these are extremely well made. I keep one out on days where we won't be going anyplace, because the cats love to go inside and sleep, or else sit on top of it.
