It shows in the design layout that it can open up to 16'. How does it open up to be able to use it as a fence ?

To make this playpen into a fence, simply un-clip the hinge clips and release the panels from one another.

This play pen will eventually show wear and tear over prolonged use outdoors due to rain, snow, etc.

What do u put under exercise pen

In some situations, there is not a need to put anything under the pen, such as when using it outside. Some customer's may prefer to lay a potty pad inside the pen when it is used inside.

I like the ease of set up. I thought it was a little flimsy and I don't like how the gate operates. I think it would be fine in a different situation, but for my use, it isn't sturdy enough. It was also set up outdoors for two days and had rust already forming in places. I put my dog's in it, while we were at a dog sporting event and one of my dog grabbed the panels and bent the metal. I like the MidWest brand better, but it wasn't available in the size I wanted. I will probably get a different exercise pen.

I bought this to keep my Border Collie puppy out of a planter. It's a bit flimsy for keeping her inside. She is 35 lbs of determination! It would be fine for keeping a smaller, lighter dog. But it's kept her out so far so I am pleased I bought it.

Extremely light weight, which was nice, except that they are not very stable. The tent style stakes helped a little, but not sufficiently. Even with 8 week old

Don't care for the one way folding.

Would have probably sent it back had I realized it was a one way folding. Prefer the option to fold in either direction. Was crunched for time, or I would have

Flimsy

You get what you pay for! It is very flimsy, but does a good job for a large dog that will respect it.

Dog enclosure not sturdy

It worked in my circumstance because our puppies are young but it is a lot more light weight than the ones I purchased previously. On positive side easy to handle

It worked in my circumstance because our puppies are young but it is a lot more light weight than the ones I purchased previously. On positive side easy to handle because they are light weight. If dog you are containing has much heft, they might be able to push it down even if secured with staples.

I bought this to use as pens for chickens. I have tried to set them up a few times and the birds have just flown out since I have yet to put a cover on top. This is not the fault of the manufacturer of course and I’m sure they will work just fine once I have a suspended tarp over them. However, since dogs are the intended animal to keep in these, I can’t see them being particularly sturdy. I feel like if a dog pushed them enough, even if the panels were clipped to one another as opposed to free standing, they’d easily escape. For small pets like rabbits or Guinea pigs they’d probably work very well. The panels also will not come unclipped from each other without you using pretty heavy-duty wire tools. But, when they were on sale for $22 or something, I can’t say I’d be disappointed in these.
