Works great
This mat is cute and does the job but it gets water underneath easily which is very messy with my puppy. I have to clean it and underneath daily.
depends on the kitty!
one of the cats has reactions to plastic feeding dishes so i use ceramic. but when the food would fall onto this mat she'd still eat it of course lol, and ended up developing some kitty chin acne. My mistake for not thinking of that. BUT i gave the mat to the other kitty and he's just fine! It's great at keeping down his mess. All around a good size, a good price, and a good buy. Just make sure your kitty isn't sensitive to plastic. (:
Mat Is Very Thin And Translucent
I was immediately disappointed when I took the mats out of the box. As indicated, the mats are thin and you can see thru them, neither of which I expected. They also slide across the floor very easily; even the cats can move them around which is not desirable. I will probably keep the mats because returning them is a hassle. But I do not recommend them.
Mat is too small for a large dog dish
I didn’t know it was plastic. It’s more like a place mat than a mat for a large dog dish and it slides too much on the floor.

Loved this and so did my mom looked great, super cuter we expected a fabric material but we were okay that it was more of a plastic. We tried to wash it and half of the right paw came off in one swipe of the sponge. It’s no longer a cute or convenient mat, it just makes me sad to look at. Quality of items on chewy are really going down unfortunately.

This is a basic, plastic mat for bowls; we use it for our cats water bowls.
Replacement dog bowl!!
Our Labradoodle refuses to eat out of conventional dog bowl. We place his food on this dog mat and he gobbles it up! The mat is indestructible!
works for what I need
our two dogs have a tendency to drag their bowls around and spill their kibble and water, so I bought these to try and help that. Of course, they still move the bowls a bit, but it makes less mess.
