I bought this for my 60-pound 100% pit. I left her food stool at my parents and needed another one right away. I was nervous the large would be too big but it’s at the perfect height. The only reason I’m not giving 5-stars is because the dimensions are almost impossible to find a placement that can accommodate it. I haven’t been able to find one to go directly under the bowls on the table part. I had to get one that goes on the floor and put the stand on top of that. If the makers can make a placement that fits these dimensions, that would be greatly appreciated.
My 65 lb, 14 year old dog figured out within a few meals eating from this stand that she could hook her paw around one of the legs and capsize the entire thing, enabling her to get at the one piece of kibble that inevitably drops behind. I got tired of cleaning up her water all over the floor so started using the box it came in instead and it works great- no kibble falls behind and she can't capsize it. I am sure the stand works well for less enterprising and insolent dogs.
My newfie has digestive issues and severe allergies to everything. We have changed his food, bought him a slow feeder, and he gets tums every day. But we were still experiencing lots of vomiting. So I did some reading and bought him one of these stands. No vomiting since we got it last week. It was super easy to set up. My 13y.o said she didn’t even need the instructions. And it is very sturdy.
I purchased this for my 10 year old 90 lb golden retriever mix to make him more comfortable while he wets his whistle. Perfect for him and his bowl fits. My 25 Boston Terrier uses it too. Just a nice thing to help a senior dog to feel more comfortable. They are worth it! May take a couple days to get them use to it, but eventually they will.
I had high expectations for this after reading the review. The picture does NOT match what you will receive. I received extremely weak, and wobbly, stands with 2 cross bars that go into wide fixtures. My 85# GSD and Dutch Shepherd were moving these around like hockey pucks on ice as they ate. Don't get me wrong, they had fun. But that was not the intent! Really a very poor product for a large dog.
This a great feeding table, easily assembled and is a perfect height for almost any sized pet. Easy to clean.
I bought the large for my 60lb cattle dog mix. It's a bit shorter than I expected that is it okay since my dog is not too tall. It's actually the perfect height for him. I like that it's not too tall, he can easily reach all the food in the bowl without struggling. The assembly was super easy, just connect two metal bars and done; took about 30 seconds. Easily fits any size bowls. I have two 8-inch ceramic bowls (from Disney), and they both nicely fit together without touching. I will definitely buy another when we get another dog :)
I have a 60 pound Australian Cattle Blue Heeler Mix that I bought this for and he just loves it. It was so nice to find something that I could use his bowls and not have to worry about wood warping. I looked for awhile for an elevated dog bowl set and so glad we got this one.
This was exactly what I expected from reading the product description. My puppy is still getting used to having an elevated platform for his food. I think it's the right height for him. I also love being able to use my own bowls. It was easy to set up and doesn't take up too much space. Unfortunately, mine came with one of the horizontal metal support rods that was slightly bent out of shape. I can kind of jam it in but you can see that it's crooked. It's not really a big deal to me so I still think it's a 5-star product.
This is perfect for our Chihuahua mix and our poodle. Also had a m I ssing rubber foot, PetRageous was AWESOME great customer service and sent me some extra feet!!
