Can additional litter be added to the tray?

This litter box uses a disposable litter tray already filled with premium crystal litter and does not need any extra litter to be added. The ScoopFree Reusable Cat Litter Tray can be used with this model, and you can determine the amount of litter used.

Does this work for multiple cat households?

ScoopFree was designed for use with one or two cats. If you have more than two cats, it is recommended to have at least one litter box for every two cats.

Love, love this cat litter box. It is a game changer. It can b managed and monitored thru the WiFi enabled app, and keeps the litter box clean. Having the crystal litter instead of that horrible clay litter is so much better too because my cat is not dragging that dirty clay through the house and furniture. I highly recommend it!

It’s very low maintenance, minimal to no odor, spacious and easy for my cat to get in and out of, however, I had the original non smart version previously and would recommend that over this one. This one no matter how much troubleshooting I do will not stay connected to my Wi-Fi, it will say that it’s paired, and then immediately will unpair itself. Save the extra money and go with the original version.

Won't Connect to WiFi

This box works but the WIFI never connected so the light just blinks blue. The support team at PetSafe went through all the reasons for a failure to connect and

This box works but the WIFI never connected so the light just blinks blue. The support team at PetSafe went through all the reasons for a failure to connect and I set up a 2.4 guest network just for the box. The app finds the box and goes through the process of adding it but then nothing happens. I would not buy one of these. Their tech support are not helpful and just told me to return it.

My cats refused to use it

My friends swear by this box so I bought it and my cats refused to use it. I use the same crystal litter so the problem was not that. I think the box is too small

My friends swear by this box so I bought it and my cats refused to use it. I use the same crystal litter so the problem was not that. I think the box is too small for my cats, and the hood is not tall enough so my cats have very limited space. The blinking lights were also very distracting for them and the amount of litter is too small so my cats were reluctant to use it. I gave it almost 2 months and in the end had to return the box sadly.

Don’t buy

It doesn’t do all it’s supposed to do. It’s supposed to connect to this app and be a smart device. It doesn’t work, I’ve tried everything. Waste of money.

I ordered two of these boxes, and they wouldn’t connect to my internet. I called Petsafe’s customer service, and it turns out the firmware was out of date. They shipped me two new units free of charge, and they’re the best litter box I can imagine! No tracking litter outside the box, my cats always have a clean place to do their business, litter is super simple to change out, light weight and lasts over 2 weeks without smelling at all! I couldn’t be happier.

I truly give this box a negative 5 stars not a 1 sta

For me this was a large purchase, I sprung for the hood. As a single mom who works 2 jobs, this was a big purchase. It never seemed to work correctly, and was difficult

For me this was a large purchase, I sprung for the hood. As a single mom who works 2 jobs, this was a big purchase. It never seemed to work correctly, and was difficult for me to use. The hood fell off constantly and spooked my cat so he would use the bath tub instead of the litter box. This was the worst purchase I ever made. Then I started using it with out the top and it just completely stopped working. I always used the crystal litter even know I had to order the trays or drive to a pet store to get replacement and pay more for the trays. This box was out of my price range and not worth it. This box didn't even last 3 month!!!
