Lightweight, easy to assemble

The travel crate was great for putting in the back of my vehicle so my 11-month old dog (weighing approx 38 pounds) could ride safely. It did not work so well as an overnight crate while he stayed with my parents. He is a bit of an escape artist, but the first time he was there he was easily able to unzip the top opening (which had not been locked). The second time he stayed with them, all zippers were locked so instead he ripped his way out (photo attached) “within 5 minutes”, according to my mother, of being in the crate. So, I’m going to try a different brand for travel bc he seems content in this type of crate for car rides. We have decided on an old school, bulky metal crate for overnight trips from now on.

So really THE most important thing about this crate is the putting together/taking apart. I had a very nice very expensive one for my other dog prior and when i went to try to push the pin in to disable bars in an emergency evacuation it was SO difficult and you need ALOT of strength i ended up snapping it so we cud still take it due to her not having anythjng and i taped with duct tape for the time needed so pretty much useless. this one is great it is a gentle screw twist to assemble and disassemble. i have very little hand stength and have had to assemble and disassemble 3x had no issues. I VERY RECCOMEND for these reasons.

I wish my dog fit!

I loved how easy it was to assemble and that my dog warmed up to it right away. Unfortunately, he looked like Dino from the Flintstones when he tried to stand up

It’s roomy and it looks nice. Unfortunately , my dog figured out how to unzip it right away. There are many options to zip and as soon as I tried another, even when I put the zipper on the bottom, she unzipped. From now on I’m tying the zippers with zip ties and I am going to use the top zipper.
