This contains propylene glycol. How is this acceptable in giving to a dog/isn't this toxic?
Answer by ChewyAug 21, 2018
Propylene glycol is an approved food additive for dog and sugar glider food under the category of animal feed, but it is prohibited in food for cats due to links to Heinz body anemia.

My dog is 65lbs, which one of these can I give to him? I only see up to 50lbs.
Answer by ChewyJun 28, 2019
For dog's over 30 pounds, the Phycox MAX Soft Chews Joint Support Dog Supplement would work perfectly.

How soft are these chews?
Answer by ChewyOct 20, 2018
They are firm enough to hold shape, but completely able to be torn or ripped.

Amazing & tasty!

We've used 2 other products for my little JackRussell/Chihuahua baby whom is about 8-9 yrs old. He has been given the chews now for about 2yrs and it has helped him immensely with his knees in regards to luxated patella. Highly recommend for those with furbabies that are susceptible to having mobility issues.

No more skipping!

So we have been using this now going on 4 months and I must say...I am so thrilled with this product! My one little dachshund/yorkie mix was skipping with his back right leg for YEARS and the vet never told us to try a supplement. Fast forward years later and finally...NO MORE SKIPPING! They both have luxating patella and this product works WONDERS! Ordering another can now! The taste took some "getting used to" but now are all good!

Bad Batch?

Purchased 2 Containers in past, just opened last one which does not expire until 2024 and is covered with white crystalline substance that looks like bugs.

Fudgy Treat or Super Supplement

Bentley knows these as his "Fudgies" but I know them as the vet recommended supplement for his back and arthritis issues. He's one fussy mini-doxy and he loves them. Has been taking them for years and he's 16!

Vet recommended... my girls don't like

My finicky pups will not eat this supplement. The supplement are pretty big for 13-15 lb terrier mixes' mouths, chewing is required. I tried splitting it into 2 equal portions, rolling them into little balls which are still pretty big, and pushing it down their throat. They didn't like that. It is recommended that they take 1 chew a day, but they only got 1/2 a chew. I am not comfortable continue to force it down their throat every day, twice a day to get the recommend dosage. Not sure what I'm going to do. It is best if your pup is not picky and will anything. Finicky pups... chances are, they will not like this supplement.

Arthritis pain in my pet dog Benzy 10 years old

Benzy is a rescue Boxer shepherd mix from Hurricane Harvey! My daughter rescued him from under a car! He suffers from Arthritis in his back hips and moves slow but he's been on Phycox max for 5 years and I've seen a great improvement! He has lost some weight also! Mainly because of Hills Metabolic food!

Great product for older dogs!

I was surprised to see a difference in my dog's ability to climb stairs after only 3 days on this product. She seems to feel a little less pain in her hind quarters. She is an 11 year old chihuahua.
