Piggy Poo and Crew Pig Rooting Snuffle Activity Mat, Small

I bought this for my shih tzu puppy who loves to dig and rout around. Hiding treats in the folds keep her busy and stopped her from digging into pillows, couches, etc. A well worth it purchase.

Both my golden retriever and shihtzu love this snuffle mat. It has been a great way to keep my golden mentally entertained after surgery while he can’t be very active physically. My shihtzu is blind and isn’t interested in many toys, but this snuffle mat keeps him engaged. He is also a senior pup and isn’t always interested in his food. I can put a bowl of food down for him and he won’t touch it, but as soon as I put the same food in the snuffle mat he starts foraging and eating all of his food. I highly recommend it!

I particularly like the grippy texture on the bottom of the mat to help on slick floors such as hardwood or laminate. The dogs get so excited when they see this mat and enjoy sniffing out food or treats. If there was any flaw, it would be that my dogs can easily get all of the treats out of the nooks and crannies a bit too quickly, even when hiding the food inside of the loops.

We've had a few snuffle mats and they always get really stinky after a while even with hot water washes with intense drying. I like the quick dry fleece and slightly more water-resistant backing on this Piggy Poo one. I think it will last a bit longer. My pitbull seems to really enjoy it too - she has figured out how to turn it over after she's snuffled all she can out of it!

We have a GSD/Labrador mix who gets bored with toys quickly. She needs a lot of mental stimulation and enjoys figuring things out. This mat is great for when she’s in those “bored” moments where no toys or training activities seem of interest. The only possible negative is that the mat could be a little bigger because she is growing like a weed, but that’s not the mats fault! Highly recommended!!

Good little activity. Like that it's washable and I can fold it up to store compared to bulky brain games. Smaller, shallower, and less dense than imagined, so it only takes my dog 5 min, but 5 min well spent. The non-slip backing is meaningless because it's so light and soft, your pup could easily pick it up and move it around.

We love snuffle mats! To sniff and search for hidden treats or dinner keeps her mind busy but her body calm. Also great after surgery or in hotels

Needed a dog snuffle mat, but couldn’t find one. This is a fair substitute, but my big Newfoundland has pretty much worn it out.

Our girls love it! We’ll probably buy another when back in stock because they won’t share.

My dogs love this. Would recommend for small dogs. Good quality workmanship.
