No chicken by products

These are great pill buddies for my dog who can’t have chicken. She developed problems with chicken ingredients including food that was not supposed to have chicken

These are great pill buddies for my dog who can’t have chicken. She developed problems with chicken ingredients including food that was not supposed to have chicken in it. They smell just like peanut butter and the large bag lasts forever. They are in a plastic wrapper and you can squeeze the soft pill buddy to fit a pill. My dog is small and takes a small pill so it lasts a long time. She loves them and looks forward to her medication every morning. I would recommend them for any dog who has a problem with any chicken product.

We need to give the meds to her on as empty a stomach as possible, so we wanted something that wasn't too fatty (we were previously using peanut butter). We've used these twice now, and she's eaten them happily. She also has a sensitive stomach, and she wasn't bothered by these.

Pretty Good, But Inconsistent

Sometimes these are super dry and barely hold around the pill, others they are so moist they turn everything into a sticky glob. And sometimes you get a bag that is right in the prime of freshness, and they are perfect and they are great. But whether the recipe is inconsistent, or packinging just not providing an adequate air seal, an item I can only sometimes rely on turns into an item I no longer buy. They have been an allergy-safe pill cover for many animals in our care, and I appreciate a zero animal protein recipe, but they need to offer a more consistent product.

Perfect for my HA dog

I love these for my girl who was diagnosed with IDB. Other pill pockets either have too much fat, ingredients my dog can't have, or have a horrible smoke flavor

I love these for my girl who was diagnosed with IDB. Other pill pockets either have too much fat, ingredients my dog can't have, or have a horrible smoke flavor added. These are exactly what I was looking for! I can easily break off pieces and mold them around a pill with no problem. My dog gets meds twice a day and these make it fun for her plus a lot less stressful for me. Peanut Butter and Apple is the flavor I chose.

Unfortunately these pill buddys are not great. They are individually wrapped, which should keep them from drying out, but I find them to be crumbly. They also don't

They also don't have a convenient hole like the other popular brand to slide the pills in. The smell is quite strong also. My dog has to be coaxed into eating them.

The sealed ones work well but most of the bag was no sealed
