Woodpeckers love them.

I used to order this product directly from Pine Tree Farms. I called them and they said chewy sells the products now. I’ve always been very happy with this brand

They are packed fantastically, open and slide into my holders with ease! So far the little and big guys (squirrels) seem to be happy with them. I have a few suet holders but kept to just this one so I could see their level of interest. Even after almost a solid week of rain they are happy! These seem nice and firm, it wasn't a goopy mess when I was taking it out.

This suet is much nicer than other brands I've tried. Food is blended into the suet so it is a lot less greasy feeling when handling to put into the feeders. It also means birds have an easier time getting more than just suet. It took a while for the birds to find the feeder, but it seems to be really popular now! The block looked dry after birds had been visiting, but that is just because every bit has something in it other than just fat. I am really pleased with it, and it seems the wild birds are too!

We originally put the entire block out in the feeder and it scared all the birds off for a few days. Once they got used to it being there, they returned and continued eating the other seed we had out, but only really picking at the block. We had the most success when we crumbled it into smaller pieces, a bit messy but the birds would come and carry pieces off to eat. We also sprinkle some on the ground and the squirrels and possums find it very tasty!
