For one i absolutely love that the ridges arent too high, something i saw as a negative for other slow feeders from other brands. This one is easier to clean compared to others i have based on the texture being different. I also love that coincidentally this fits perfectly on top of my dogs bowl. Initially wasnt using as much because I prefer to give my dog all her food/liquids at an elevated height, now i use this daily. One area for her goat milk, another for treats/probioticts, and another for food. I love it so much that I plan on getting more colors just to have prepared mats in the freezer! I would love to see PINK PAPYRUS come out with more slow feeders with different textures, I love this one!

Only gave 4 stars because I left her to clean it up and she was able to tear it (rendering it useless) with one quick attempt. So if 100% supervised, its 5***** worthy!

If you ever notice your dog hits their food bowl around the floor like they're playing soccer and spilling food, then eating off the floor, there's actually an extremely good chance they actually want to eat off the floor. This mat is nearly flat, very low on the floor, promotes slower/smoother eating, and you can apply spreads on the completely flat part. My pittie would kick her bowl all over the place and take a while to eat because she wanted to spill her bowl. With the mat she doesn't have to, she eats without making a mess or noise or having to move all around the room. Very good purchase, do recommend. Easy to clean too, doesn't take up space, worth it.

We love this. I originally got it for the deeper grooves to put plain yogurt with some dried blueberries from Pupford hidden inside, but turns out his tummy hates

We love this. I originally got it for the deeper grooves to put plain yogurt with some dried blueberries from Pupford hidden inside, but turns out his tummy hates yogurt. So, we stick with canned pumpkin. It still works great and gives him more textures and fun. I don't fill up the grooves, I just smear it around them so he has to work a bit to get to the goods. I use Lickimats (and their spin offs) to mix his liquid medicine in with his canned pumpkin to give him a little extra something-something. Since this one has deeper pockets, I also throw his supplements down in the grooves for a little extra brain stimulation. He loves almost all of them, but this is in his top two. It's also the easiest to clean by far.

Great for Homemade Frozen Slow Feeder Treat!

I bought this to make low-calorie frozen slow feeder treats for my large dog, wanting to give him something to occupy and enjoy. I place it on the silicone mat

I bought this to make low-calorie frozen slow feeder treats for my large dog, wanting to give him something to occupy and enjoy. I place it on the silicone mat where is food/water bowl is and it sticks pretty well. Haven’t tried sticking it to a vertical surface yet. It takes him about 10-15 minutes to finish, depending on what I freeze into it. It’s easy to clean- bits of food and hair come right off. I always watch him to make sure it doesn’t become a chew toy, but he has yet to show any interest in chewing it after finishing the frozen treat. Super thrilled with this and will recommend it to others. It’s nice to get creative with it, using safe seasonal fresh produce or frozen veg/fruit. I sometimes all goat milk yogurt or powder for a liquid base- water works just fine and flavors of whatever toppers I use dissolve into it.

Truly durable
