Although Mazee is built for durability, it's intended for puzzle-play, not chewing, so it is not rated on our Durability Scale. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

    Not very challenging

    By on

We got this for our dog to see if she would enjoy a puzzle toy. Unfortunately, the treats fall out of it so fast it doesn't keep her entertained for more than 5 minutes. It also picks up any dirt or hair on the floor, so it looks pretty grubby once she's done playing. But it's stood up to her chewing for the most part, and she does like playing with it, even without treats in it. Just wish it was a little more challenging.

    Food dispensing toy

    By on

My labrador likes this toy. It's easy to fill and rolls easily, and it's soft enough for him to hold onto and carry around. The food comes out in a consistent stream, without taking so long they get discouraged. That's fine for a food gulper, but not an OCD dog who needs a task to work at, over some time. The down side is that the food come out in regular payloads, and then he's done. It lasts 5 min tops. He doesn't have to work hard to empty it. The internal part can be rotated to partition the large opening, but it still empties too quickly for a dog that needs a job to keep him preoccupied for a while. Also, the outer material really attracts hair. Living with a golden and a labrador, it My labrador likes this toy. A dog favorite

    By on

Doesn't keep the dogs busy for more than 10 minutes ... but that is 10 minutes I would otherwise not have to clean up the kitchen. Both dogs love it. It definitely requires supervision as I have found both dogs (40 pound Standard Poodles) able to bite it and move the puzzle part around within the ball ... which can be really hard to move back into place. Still, I have one that is 4 years old and it is going strong.

    Mazee not so tough

    By on

The only toy my dog has not destroyed is the Orbee-Tuff Snoop Dog toy so I thought id give another toy from this brand a try. He destroyed it in 3 hours. I don’t know what it is about the snoop dog toy but he cannot destroy it. If you have a strong chewer, this may not be the toy for you.

    can’t be left unsupervised

    By on

The exterior rubber is poor quality and the dog can’t be unsupervised while playing with it. Since it is a puzzle toy it kind of defeats the purpose of keeping my pup busy.

    The Friesl approved

    By on

We bought this because our dogs eat every dinner through a treat dispenser and this looks like a lot of fun. We have two dachshunds, 4.5 years old, who eat small breed kibble. This has a very large opening so if you're going to use kibble, make sure it gets to the very bottom, although there is a small hole at the bottom, but if your kibble is big enough it won't fall through. If you don't force it to the bottom a lot of food will dump out in the first roll.

    Best treat toy EVER

    By on

Our dog is on his second maze ball. He loves when we put treats in this. He’s had these for several years and it’s never become less of a challenge. He has as much fun with the maze ball as he did the first time we gave it to him. Youy can put all kinds of treats inside—even the treats that you think are too big (makes it a little more challenging). He rolls it, throws it, and chews it. It keeps him occupied. Great toy!

    Not durable

    By on

I bought this because it was recommended by my dog's trainer, it lasted a whole 5 minutes when my dog chewed a hole into it. Don't waste your money if you have a puppy or a chewer.

    great for cats!

    By on

We try to provide a lot of enrichment for my 3 year old cat, Winnie. We’ve tried a number of puzzle style feeders and have found them all to be too easy! This one is great because of the maze on the inside, it really keeps him busy.

    Love the bounce

    By on

My dog loves the bouncy nature of this toy. He can get hold of it and toss it around, holding up well to his rough use. Treats come out too easily but he still has fun with it!
