The material used to make our Planet Dog toys has mint oil infused into the material. The mint oil is not on the surface of the toy and does not come in direct contact with your dog.

I bought this same toy through a local outlet. I stuffed a few treats inside and gave it to my dog Alfred as a late birthday/Christmas present. An hour later, I was getting ready for bed, my dog bursts into my room with my other dog whining behind him. His nose is jammed inside the hole of this toy, his eyes are leaking mucus and is in severe distress. On instinct I yank the toy off and my dog is squealing for twenty minutes with me rubbing his back until he calms down. I return the toy the next day with the store , telling me they will send it back to corporate. It’s not okay this happened and I am appalled to see this thing being sold on Chewie.

We both love this one. I use it as a slow feeder at least once each day (2 daily feedings of about 1 cup kibble each). I load about 1/4 cup at a time (more makes it too easy) and despite refill requests - he stares at it and whines - it buys me about 30 minutes of peace each morning. He can pick it up by inserting his lower jaw into the center, but doesn’t chew on it. It is soft and pliable enough to bounce when dropped or to bounce harmlessly off furniture. Just big enough not to be able to roll under the couch, but it does occasionally spew food there that I have to go fetch to keep him from tearing up the carpet to get to it. My dog is fully engaged with his tail wagging the whole time.

I have a few of the little version of this item (Lil Snoop, I think) and they’ve lasted over 6 months. I was really excited about this one because the bigger ball makes it harder for my medium-size dog to get to the treat or food. But a month after I ordered two, both of them are shredded and had to be thrown away. I’m bummed. I’d definitely recommend the smaller version over this one.

my dog loves it. it fits a lot of food (we put food in it but you can do treats) and it keeps him entertained for a while. I have a big dog and we used to use the smaller version of this toy, this larger version can actually fit his full dinner which is nice. Very durable too but my dog is NOT a super chewer lol. Love this vibrant green color too. Good price.
