Description

Give your buddy a shot of B12 with the Orbee-Tuff Strawberry. This toy delivers 100% of a dog’s daily requirement of rompoflavin, chompohydrates, and dietary fun. Put a treat inside for added enjoyment!

Key Benefits
  • The Strawberry is a delicious part of a well-balanced play routine
  • Recyclable, non-toxic, tough material
  • Treat-Spot makes it perfect for stuffing with treats
  • This juicy morsel is perfect for small and medium sized dogs at 3" high
  • Floats in water for varied fun

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

A great (and quiet!) alternative to a stuffable kong

    By on

I live in an apartment with hardwood floors, and unfortunately for my downstairs neighbors, one of my dog's favorite techniques for kongs and their ilk is to drop it repeatedly until whatever he wants is dislodged. It's cute, and creative, but needless to say we can't really do kongs anymore. Enter the strawberry. This toy is perfect for anyone concerned about noise, as it bounces quietly and harmlessly on any floor surface. USE: It has a fun and irregular bounce and it's easy to hide plenty of goodies in there. You can do kibble/training treats, for a quick and interactive experience, a larger treat (like jerky or veggies) for a more challenging experience, or something soft to freeze for a I live in an apartment with hardwood floors, and unfortunately for my downstairs neighbors, one of my dog's favorite techniques for kongs and their ilk is to drop it repeatedly until whatever he wants is dislodged. USE: It has a fun and irregular bounce and it's easy to hide plenty of goodies in there. You can do kibble/training treats, for a quick and interactive experience, a larger treat (like jerky or veggies) for a more challenging experience, or something soft to freeze for a lickable toy. You can even mix and match treat sizes for a fun, varied challenge. DURABILITY: My guy is not a heavy chewer so I can't completely speak to the durability but I will say that our dog trainer has been using one for years as a treat hiding toy and it's held up really well. The green stem DID come off on hers, however, since it was otherwise perfectly intact and there were no other parts to dislodge, she kept using it and it's been just fine. CLEANING: I actually wish our stem would dislodge since I'd prefer to have a larger hole for easier cleaning (and easier access for the pup to lick frozen foods) - I'm seriously considering taking a knife to it and trying to take the stem off myself! ALTERNATIVES: For those looking to stuff this with frozen food like peanut butter and yogurt: I have both this and the carrot and I'd recommend the carrot over this for freezing since the larger hole is easier to access for licking and cleaning. The carrot is also much longer for some additional challenge (my cocker spaniel mix can't quite reach the end with his tongue, but I have no doubt a medium-to-large dog could). They're both made from the same magic, quiet, floor-friendly orbee-tuff material, and after over a year with a light chewer, they're looking no worse for wear. … more

    Our Dog's Favorite toy!

    By on

This strawberry is our greyhound's favorite toy. We are on our 5th strawberry- a few of them have been lost, and a the others have eventually worn out and broken, but only after a year or two of constant daily playing. In the older versions of the strawberry, the green top would separate from the base almost immediately, but that has not happened yet with the most recent strawberry that we have. Also, planet dog is a great company! We love all of their dog toys

    Not as Durable

    By on

Be sure to pay attention to the Orbee-Tuff ratings. I bought this because I thought the strawberry was adorable, but it is not as tough as some of the other toys that we have from Planet Dog. Our dog love the way it bounced, but we eventually threw it out because the green stem part fell off.

First toy out of the basket each day

My active dog loves this. Soft and fun to manipulate. Good for treats and entertainment. Bounces at different angles and the top side of strawberry keeps the hole side up so more challenging than you would think. LOVE!

    Silly berry

    By on

Since we have been having good luck with planet orb toys thought this would be same quality....nope! Top part came off instantly and very easy to chew pieces off. Instead of berry picking we are pieces picking!

Entertainment for you and your furbaby!

I have 2 small maltipoos who won't touch their other treat toys since we received the strawberry. It's perfect size for kibbles and lots of treats. Keeps them busy while I clean, etc. I love watching them roll this around and steal it from each other!
