The chicken used in Plato treats is 100% fresh, organic chicken. The treats include over 90% organic chicken along with Organic Brown Rice, Salt, Zinc Propionate, Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative), Citric Acid, Rosemary Extract, Vitamin E Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2Phosphate (a Source of Vitamin C).

Plato does add salt to their treats as a way of a natural preservative. It’s a small amount added, 0.84% of Sodium is in the treats. Per treat, there is approximately 58.8 milligrams of Sodium.

I’ve always bought these treats because they contain a goood amount a vitamin E. Now vitamin E does not seem to be listed and I’d like to know if it’s still included?

The mixed tocopherols in the treats are a natural source of vitamin E, however there’s not high enough amounts of it so we do not claim it.
