I see that one side has a suction cup but how does the other side stay up?

This cover uses window anchors, suction cups and hook and loop strips to stay in place.

I have had these door covers since receiving them March 2021. They have held up well with the exception of the suction cups which are worthless. The 4 tabs do a pretty good job of holding the cover in place between the window and seal. I cut off the plastic piece in the middle of the tab that is supposed to help hold it in place because it scratched up the window tint rolling the windows up and down. It really isn't as large as I would like it to be, but width of the windows in my Toyota Land Cruiser, there would be no way to secure the back part of a larger size except for the suction cup. I stated they are worthless, right? The dogs love to have their heads out the windows and their paws propped on the top of the window ledge or on the armrest. The cover protects those areas well.

If you use this product to protect your doors, you cannot effectively open and close the window(s) on the door(s) on which this is installed (cannot use the suction cup if you intend to open and close the window).

Great, cozy car door cover

I was looking for a soft fabric door cover to help my small dog grip onto the door when enjoying window time in the car. All other covers I found were a rough, waterproof

I was looking for a soft fabric door cover to help my small dog grip onto the door when enjoying window time in the car. All other covers I found were a rough, waterproof material that were just as slippery as my car paneling. Really happy with quality — it has a soft, velvety feel and the charcoal color is a nice deep gray, almost black, not bluish like in the photos. The fabric is thin, so it's not too hot in warmer climates, but still provides enough cushion for my 10lb. dog. The clips work perfectly in my Sprinter, and don't budge when I open or close the window. I haven't tested the waterproof aspect, or have had to clean it yet, but I imagine it should be easy to spot clean.
