I made this for my dog's birthday, and she split it with her four doggie friends (two servings each, one saved for later. A total of 3 medium dogs, 2 small dogs). All the dogs loved it! It had a slightly dense/chewy texture which they seemed to appreciate. I had been worried about how flexible the cake mold was, with putting it into the oven, but it actually was pretty easy (lift from the two sides, and you have lots and lots of space at the top, so it is in no danger of spilling). It came out of the mold easy (I put it in another dish for carrying and cutting) and the mold itself was easy to clean.
Bought this for our Golden’s 2nd birthday! It was very easy to make and every single dog that came for the “party” thoroughly enjoyed it! No upset tummies after, just all smiles! 10/10!
Thought it was awful. First, if you add 2 Tablespoons of water to the icing mix, you will have runny runny icing. I had to add a bunch if powdered sugar to try to thicken it but nothing worked. I would try 1 T. of water first and see how it is. Only add drops at a time if needed at all. There's not that much icing at all. I made cupcakes in the oven with liners and it makes 8. I filled them 3/4 of the way up and they rose just above the pan when finished. Don't expect a lot of icing. Will not be buying these again.
