I would give my dog Pete a little cup of vanilla ice cream if I was having some. I was never really comfortable with it so he only got a cup once in a blue moon. I'm not sweet eater so I rarely even have in the freezer. This Chrirstmas I was looking thru the sales that Chewy was offering and I came across the Pooch Creamery Ice Cream. I had to get it and try it out. The Ice cream was very easy to mix up and I poured it into an ice cube tray way I could portion his servings. Well, It was gone in 60 seconds of me putting the ice cream in front of him, haha. I feel better giving him doggie ice cream that the people ice cream. It does say on the container you can freeze it up to 6 weeks. He has only had four cubes since December 27th so I am not sure if I am going to have to throw out some as I don't give it to him every week. I also bought the Peanut Butter Flavor. Hoping he likes it just as much as the vanilla. Pete had no negative reaction to the Pooch Creamery Ice Cream. Definitely would recommend.
I made this and a cake by the same company to celebrate my dog's and my daughter's dog's birthdays. It was very easy to make and both dogs started eating immediately upon receiving it and never looked up until it was gone! It seems more like an ice than an ice cream, as it is not creamy, but they liked it so I would buy again!
My dog loved the pooch creamery! its sugar free for diabetic dogs.
My two dogs DROOL when I eat ice cream but, of course, it's not good for them. (Can cause belly aches and diarrhea.) Yet this I CAN give them! I let it thaw awhile, then I scoop my ice cream, and we all "share" a cool, sweet treat together. And THEY don't know the difference!
My dogs love this ice cream. I only give them a small scoop at a time. It does not upset their stomachs. It mixed really well and froze good. Easy to scoop when frozen. Chewy is the best
Got some for my dogs first birthday and she really went for it. A little tedious to mix up but it worked out great.
Not Recommended. We bought this thinking it was an ice cream for our pooches. The container has very little powder.
I bought the Birthday Cake flavor 1st for my Diezel's birthday treat. He is a Pit/Mastiff mix and he absolutely loves it. Great treat. Easy to make and put in freezer. I will randomly grab a spoon and give him a few spoonfuls. Perfect treat! Also bought for my son in laws dogs to try!
I put the ice cream into ice cube trays. I mixed it with the peanut butter flavor so they had layers to enjoy.
My girls know when I ask them if they want ice cream!! They're eyes widen with excitement for their favorite treat!! They LOVE it!!
