Not what I expected
They sent the wrong color. It's soft but flimsy for large cats. I have a 15lb cat and this is way to small. Better for kittens and very small dogs

Pet beds are pet beds, but I had to comment on this one. It's great for my med to lge size cat. I like the high back, which is why I bought it, purposely for the couch, and she doesn't get hair all over the back of it. I have not washed the pad so can't say anything about that. Even if the pad does not survive a wash mach, I can always use pce of fleece as its a fairly deep bed. This is very sturdy bed, does not collapse.

New bed smells like urine.
I’m not sure if Chewy sells returns but this bed came out of the package reeking of urine. My cat could smell it and won’t get on the bed. I’m shocked!

Very poorly made. My 11 lb Shih tzu likes to root around to get comfy, the liner has pulled away from the base which is paper thin.

Instant Purr Factory
Once I put this bed down, the cat came and sniffed it, and then walked right in to instant purring and biscuit making. There's always a cat in it at night now,

There's always a cat in it at night now, this is their new favorite place to sleep. I'm not sure how well this will wash or clean up, or if the extra soft faux fur will get coarse after washing. It might be difficult to keep this free of shed fur. This bed would fit even the largest of fat cats, or two smaller cats easily.
