So cute and functional

It took Willow a week or so to finally get inside this Chicken on her own. Now I look in her room (she is isolated due to a virus) and she is inside all curled up

It took Willow a week or so to finally get inside this Chicken on her own. Now I look in her room (she is isolated due to a virus) and she is inside all curled up. Finally I bought something a cat actually uses!! They are very finicky little creatures!!

Going straight to the punch line... we threw it out after 2 months. First, it's not cozy. The fluffy cover is like microfiber but it's not soft. It covers the round part but does nothing to make it soft. The plush chickens on the top are super cute. The scratch pole is wayyy to short. The entire thing is top heavy so whenever the cat would climb on it, it would fall over. I'd have to put 1 foot on the base to stead it while I played with my 5lb kitten on it. Out cat was not too interested in sitting/laying in it and would really only use it as a step up to the window sill. We persisted for 2 months but ended up throwing it away due to lack of interest and the awkwardness of it all.

Fell apart quickly

The hole that holds the screw is too wide so it just fell apart repeatedly. I tried putting a block between the hole and bottom and it didn’t last.

Definitely for kittens

I was really excited to get this because I am also a chicken fan. But was very disappointed to actually see how small it was. Mowgli, that’s in the picture is only

I was really excited to get this because I am also a chicken fan. But was very disappointed to actually see how small it was. Mowgli, that’s in the picture is only a two-year-old average size cat, and cannot even fit in the tube. It’s too small for them to enjoy. But if you have kittens or a smaller animal like a ferret they will love it. I will be donating it to someone who is fostering kittens. It is really good quality and nicely made. It is just too small for my cat family.
