A standard measuring cup typically holds about 2 ounces of Freeze-Dried Raw Pronto. As such, our 7-ounce package holds approximately 3.5 cups, our 16-ounce package holds approximately 8 cups, and our 25-ounce package holds about 12.5 cups of our complete and balanced product.

What is the percentage of calcium and phosphorus in your freeze dried formulas?

The calcium content in this formula is 1.15% on an as fed and 1.22% on a dry matter. The phosphorus content is 1.12% on an as fed and 1.19% on a dry matter basis.

Is the amount of food in the feeding instructions before or after reconstitution?

The amount of food in the feeding instructions is before adding hydration. Keep in mind, the food will not 'swell' like dehydrated food.

Do you know what the difference is between Primal Kibble in the Raw and Pronto?

Picky eater loves this food!

Our vet asked us to put our elderly dog on a copper-free diet because she's having age-related liver problems. All the other copper-free foods we tried for her

Our vet asked us to put our elderly dog on a copper-free diet because she's having age-related liver problems. All the other copper-free foods we tried for her were unsuccessful because she's a terribly picky eater. But WOW does she love this brand! The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that we find the larger nuggets easier to work with than these pronto pieces. Our dog is so tiny that even these small pieces are too big for her so we have to crush them before rehydrating. It is easier to crush the one large nugget than the 15 little pieces of kibble. But she likes the taste of this just as well, and her bloodwork is improving as she gets on a more even keel with a high quality copper-free diet.

Clearly not the same foood

I ordered a 2 pack of the pronto beef, as I saw friends training with it and it is the perfect size. I received the bags and the food in one bag seems very fresh

I ordered a 2 pack of the pronto beef, as I saw friends training with it and it is the perfect size. I received the bags and the food in one bag seems very fresh and is the normal freeze dried consistency. The other bag the food is much darker and hard like kibble, that crumbles. They even smell different from one another.
