Reading the reviews I hoped this would have been the answer to get my dogs diarrhea under control. After a food intolerance analysis, food change with no ingredients she is intolerant to, her diarrhea continued. Tried adding this and it seemed to have made it worse. I hope it works for others! It however did not help my dog with diarrhea (and yes I have tried probiotics however she is highly intolerant to ingredients, and metronidazole doesn't help either). Guess it's back to the vet we go.

My 14 year old dog started to eat stool, yuck I know. A little reserch and I found out older dogs may start to do that because they need their guts “good” bacteria replenished. After only about a week of using the prozyme powder he is more active and seems more energetic. Have not noticed any more stool eating either. The powder is a bit expensive but such a small amount is used per meal, about 1/2 teaspoon per meal, the bottle will last a long time. So happy to find something that made such a big difference in a very short time. Thank you Chewy.

A neighbor recommended this for my boxer, and it made a real difference by stopping stinky belches and smelly gas, and firming up the stool. Now I use it for my pit mix with equally good results and great body condition. I sprinkle it over kibble and jiggle the dish a bit to mix it around. For the extra-short faced boxer, I sprayed a little water over it to be sure she wouldn’t aspirate the powder. Pitty loves it as-is. Larger bottle contains many servings and is easy to measure from.

My vet recommended that I get this for my 12 year old American Staff Terrier. Some older dogs can be deficient in digestive enzymes and this has helped him to breakdown his food so now he's not throwing up every day anymore.

For some reason, no clear expiration date on the first or second bottle.

The first bottle I received had the last number of the year completely missing. The second bottle looks like the last number of the year should be a 4, but the number is almost completely rubbed off. I won't give my puppy a supplement that might be expired, and it seems like I cannot get a bottle that shows the expiration date, so I would like a refund at this point. I am disappointed because when I spoke to someone in chat, the individual put a note in the system to make sure the expiration date was visible before sending, and apparently that note was ignored.
