Super great litter box for cats who like to make sand castles. My cat isn’t able to make nearly as much as a mess in this litter box. It’s really easy to install, but if your cat likes making sand castles with litter, I would advise something without the walls. The sound is dreadful. It took a lot of training to get my kitty to stop.

I really like this litter. I have been using plastic so I thought I would try this one. The box is the right size for my cats, very strong feeling steel and it comes with 4 wheels & rubber pads that you’ll need to stick on. My cats use this one more than the plastic one. But after a week or so I went to clean the box and noticed rust on the corners, along the back of the box and in the groves. I clean it as much as possible so I will see what happens.

Other tall litter boxes were not tall enough to prevent my cat from peeing over the side. This one does the trick! We have had no accidents this week despite it being nearly a daily struggle with other litter boxes. The other reviews that mention rough edges are correct, but I couldn’t see myself or my cat getting any more than lightly scratched on them. The corner step doesn’t sit square when you attach it to the litter box. I liked the ability to add the bumpers on the bottom as well to protect my floor from the metal of the litter box. Overall, I would recommend this litter box for the stainless steel and the height aspect.

Size is great but impossible to change the litter

Didn't occur to me that it was going to be impossible to change the litter! I was so thrilled to find a high-sided litter box to solve my cat's problem of standing

Didn't occur to me that it was going to be impossible to change the litter! I was so thrilled to find a high-sided litter box to solve my cat's problem of standing up when he pees. And it works! But now that it's time to change the litter, it's way too heavy to lift, and the gigantic size makes is unwieldly to pour the litter into a bag. I guess I'll have to find somebody to help me manage it and then HOPE there is a right-size box liner or small plastic box to put inside here to easily lift out. In the meantime the bathroom really stinks with the saturated litter.

Height of the sides

We purchased a stainless with a cover and it was not a good fit for our cats. Beck pees as if he’s spraying /marking and it was a leaky mess. This box immediately

We purchased a stainless with a cover and it was not a good fit for our cats. Beck pees as if he’s spraying /marking and it was a leaky mess. This box immediately became both cat’s favorite. It’s tall enough to give them privacy and security and keeps the urine inside the box. It’s also very easy to wipe clean.

Litter flinging reduced

My cat loves to really throw all her litter out the box with this and a big mat there is so much less mess. I also feel like the stainless steel helps with odors
