Feed as a treat
We do ALOT of training with our puppies, so we're already crazy about the Pupford Training Treats. There are over 200 pieces in each bag! Our previous treats only lasted long enough to do a short review with an older dog. These...omg they are game changers! Let me explain, when you're repeating yourself to 8 puppies for each skill ...you want to make it count. Otherwise you'll be doing the same skills for days on end (and with that much repeating over and over it kind of feels like you're in a tunnel by the end of the day. The puppies are learning remarkably fast for their age and are definitely doing so well because of the treats. This flavor is the majority favorite. They learn like little rockstars with these! I tried to switch it up after running out of these and it felt like I got nothing done with them. They even got a little mad and were hunting for these treats all over even though the new treats were piled in the middle from lack of interest. We totally love this line ...it's just so much fun when they're so engaged!
As these came highly recommended on a private blog I was expecting a good fragrant training treat. These are very hard, dry and tiny in size. They had little to no appetizing smell. My dachshund had absolutely no interest in them so I feel like I wasted my money. I tried both salmon and rabbit flavors and neither were usable. If your dog is at all picky I would not recommend these.
With a pack that love a variety of treats but also a bit picky with what kind I use, they loves these Freeze Dried Rabbit Training Treats. Can't say enough about these. Even my pick eater that is very picky on what she will take during training eats them. They are worth spending the money on, are low in kcal, small pieces, smell great and limited ingredients.
These have a unique rabbit flavor - while Stormi has had dog food that had salmon, chicken and other common flavors, he's never had rabbit and so these treats hold a special place in his heart! They don't smell and don't leave residue on your hands. They're very easy to train with and I like bringing them along for higher value training sessions. We've ordered so many of these from Pupford and excited that Chewy now has them in stock too so we can grab some along with our monthly kibble order!
My pup loves these treats! She is very motivated to work for Pupford treats. She is a tiny pup so I like that these are small and only one calories per treat. We can use more treats for more training!
We have used multiple Pupford training treats for our pup and the quality of these treats is no exception. They are low calorie and highly engaging for our dog when training. Thank you Pupford for another great product!
Rabbit isn't a protein I feed my corgis a lot of but 2 of my corgis definitely love these. My 3rd corgi doesn't like these but I've tried other rabbit treats and he wasn't crazy about them either. He loves the salmon, chicken, beef, and sweet potato training treats though. It's great that Pupford has a variety of proteins to choose from.
Such the perfect size for training treats to hold in your hand while teaching your fur baby how to walk by your side and focus on you and not what's around us. Another great tasting treat.
These treats are a great way to introduce rabbit protein to your dog without breaking the bank. Rabbit protein dog foods tend to be two to three times the price of beef or chicken based foods so we like to use treats and chews as a more affordable way to introduce exotic proteins to our dogs.
Our pups absolutely loved them This treats are perfect for training and help by being so small and easy to take with you almost anywhere. I would definitely recommend if you are training your pup.
