Not for small dogs, fatty, greasy

The description for this product says it’s for all breeds. And in the reviews people talk about how they break these apart. So I felt safe ordering them for a small

The description for this product says it’s for all breeds. And in the reviews people talk about how they break these apart. So I felt safe ordering them for a small Pomeranian. To my surprise, the thinnest piece is over 1/2 inch thick, I can’t break it, my dog certainly can’t eat it. As well, there are globs of fat hanging off of the product, the product is greasy and there are spots of what looks like black mold. This was my first time trying the Pupford brand (bought another of their products as well) and it will be my last. Perhaps this was one instance of bad quality control, but I won’t order again to find out, I don’t trust the brand for my dog

My dog’s favorite treat/pastime in the world is the turkey tendons from this brand, so I thought I would try some other products as well. I appreciate that these are a single ingredient treat. My dog (10-lb yorkie) gets little pieces of these broken off every few days or so as a special treat. She has not gotten sick from these products (and she has a sensitive stomach) so that was a relief. My dog gets very excited when I pick up the Pupford bags. I’m glad I can trust this brand for good quality treats.
