Can you tell how to determine size

To get the most accurate size harness for your furry best friend, measure the girth of their chest, just behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pup’s chest.

Does this harness dave two D rings, one on each part of yhe clip?

This harness has a simple Velcro closure in the front and a secure quick-release clasp at the back with two D-rings for leash attachment.

Is this 100% escape proof? I have a dog houdini who backs out of harnesses, pulls, etc. She won't bite it though.

Puppia has changed it's sizing?

I have been using Puppia harnesses for over 10 years.. I have love the model that I bought which seems to be no longer available. This model seemed to be the closest

I have been using Puppia harnesses for over 10 years.. I have love the model that I bought which seems to be no longer available. This model seemed to be the closest. I ordered size small for my 10 lb dog as I had in the past. It did not fit. I ordered a large to accomadate her girth. It fit but the openings for her head and legs were huge. Chewy, in their amazingly wonderful way, suggested in both instances that I donate both to local shelters which I have done and hope they fine a use for these odd fitting harnesses.

Easy on and off, keeps pet securely on a leash

The design is simple making the vest easy to get on and off. It is very secure though, with a plastic clip holding the 2 sides of the back together, and two rings

I'm not sure whether the mesh fabric makes my dog warm in warm weather, particularly the larger size, not so much the smaller size.

The sizing on these harnesses is very difficult to choose online. She weighs 6lbd and has a harness that I don't like that is sized XS. This one was also sizes XS
