I typically use a shovel to clear poop from our yard, but this product helps out a lot too! We tend to have street dogs coming in our yard to do their business in addition to our own dog, I typically let the poop dry before picking it up to reduce mess and this product works great to pick up the dried bits. Set up was very easy, hardly needed the instructions provided. Really appreciate that the handles are made of metal, the plastic also seems very durable for the Texas heat, I’ve had some of these similar and they start breaking down very quickly due to the weak plastic, but the plastic on this one is very heavy duty! The container holds quite a bit, was surprised. I like how the container closes up while I’m walking to pick up other piles, it helps reduce the smell and not having to see the poop directly. The bag is simple to put in the container, I’m sure you could buy small bags at the store to put on it instead of buying the replacement bags but the ones they include (15) are very heavy duty and don’t tear when the rake touches them and are very efficient in keeping the odor contained once tied up and thrown in the dumpster.

This poop scoop seems like a good sturdy tool. It was easy to assemble. the handle holds the little container whe=ich as the bags in it, easy to find and not easy to lose. The rake attaches to the scoop handle when h[=not using the device so its always ready. It seems like a great idea for those who have trouble bending/reaching down to clean up after their dog. I like that the receptacle doesn't get dirty, because of the bag which lines it. That bag was fairly easy to attach. When you are carrying it, the 'lid' shuts, to keep the contents inside and to keep odors at bay. The rake is sturdy, and ridgid, to help guide the poop into the container. I found the process of getting the poop into the container easy at time, and a bit awkward if the poop is the least bit soft/loose, or if you are collecting poop after a rainstorm. Then the poop gets stuck in the rake...that's why I gave it a 4 star instead of five. Since I was trying this gadget out after a lot of leaves had come down, some of them also got stuck in the rake tines.

This product is convenient if you are a dog owner with a yard. We recently combined pacts and got a place with a yard. We have two “sir-poops-a lots” so the poop can pile up quickly throughout the day. This allows for a more ergonomic way. I’d be interested to see how it is for my partner who is 6’5.” Pros: Quickly picked up poop, love the bags and bag holder, relatively easy to put together. Cons: My one piece had a dent, luckily everything snapped together but I was a little nervous unwrapping and seeing it. The rake can sometimes spear the poop, which I found unpleasant. Neutral Notes: if you do do a batch pickup and use something like a Pet Genie, be mindful of the bag size. The opening can be small and trying to get the moderately filled poop bag into the receptacle was again a bit unpleasant.

FINALLY found a scooper that is AWESOME!

Man... when you have 2 big dogs, there is a lot to clean up! We had a smaller shovel/rake system that we would have to dump every few scoops into a receptacle, and when I saw this - with an attached receptacle - I had to get it! The bin that collects the doodie is a good size and it CLOSES, so you can actually use it a few times before having to dump the bag. The long-handled rake is very sturdy and doesn't bend easily like the other one did also. Oh sure, sometimes runny/wet messes will get stuck on the rake, but that's expected cuz not everything is solid! Plus, living in WA state it rains a lot this time of year so it can get mushy. It's really not that big of a deal to have to rinse off or scrape off the rake every so often (I mean, I don't think there is ANY long-handled scooper that could avoid this step). We also love the bright green! It was super easy to put the handles together, and it's awesome that it comes with 25 refill bags! I'll be ordering more of course, but these will last a while. GREAT product and I'm so glad I found it!

The length is great to keep your nose out of any unsavory smells. You don't have to consistently bend over, it is super easy to move with and use. The two items together do not weigh much and the bag installation takes no time or effort at all. The bag keeps the entire thing clean so I didn't have anxiety about switching the bags out. The closing lid feature is great because you can scoop multiple times until you fill the bag before dumping if desired. It also keeps any animals from getting into the poop, I have known many a dogs that will eat poop like we eat a pizza slice. I also enjoyed smaller features like the actual poop bags are of good quality and have nice smell to them. The receptacle has a large capacity and this would also work well for multiple animals in one yard or anyone with large breeds.

It was a good scooper, think it’s very convenient they have a little holder that attaches to the side of it to hold the bags. And I also liked they provided some free bags and they smell really good as well. The only thing I wish they had included was a flat type of rake and not a rake with slots. Their little presents sticks between the rake slots and not wanting to touch the that. But that was it the only complaint. It’s also very easy to assemble, they include a picture in how to put it together and there’s number’s on the sticks to know what order they get put in.

A very nice poop scoop! It arrived in a space saving box. If you travel you may want to keep the box as you can break down this scoop and save space. It is easy to assemble, very easy to keep clean with the bags that fit over the scoop bucket. Also no bending over as it is easy to handle. The scoop is tall so less bending than as it is with other short scoops. The bag holder is a very nice feature, handy to get to and once again no bending. The scoop will handle larger dog poops it is large enough for Great Dane size dogs. A great gift for dog friends with large or small pets or for yourself if you are tired of bending over!

Great product! I got this because I have a very large dog and daily clean-up can be quite the chore (and sometimes a messy one). This tool makes the job so much easier. It’s simple to use, convenient, and the design keeps everything clean so I don’t have to worry about getting anything on myself. The bags make disposal effortless, and since the bucket closes, I can reuse the same bag for a couple of days before changing it out. The side clips—used to secure the bag handles—keeps the bag in place perfectly and so far has never slipped. They truly went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend this product

I absolutely love this dog waste scooper! It’s the perfect height so I don’t have to bend over at all, which saves my back and makes clean-up so much easier. It’s also lightweight, so carrying it around the yard is no problem. I appreciate that it comes with a bag holder and some reusable bags as well. The assembly was super simple and literally took me about 3-4 minutes total. The design looks really nice, and the rake is my favorite part. My yard is mostly gravel and rock, and this tool makes it easy to scoop up exactly what I want and leave the rest behind. It’s simple, sturdy, and does the job perfectly. Highly recommend!
