The consistency was not as expected. I thought it would be like the Churu treats or possibly pate' consistency but it was really hard to squeeze feom the tube and

The consistency was not as expected. I thought it would be like the Churu treats or possibly pate' consistency but it was really hard to squeeze feom the tube and had a thick playdoh type consistency. 3 of my 4 cats wouldn't eat it and the 4th just nibbles then walks away. I gave to a friend that fosters and haven't heard if any of her crew eats it.

Wrong Color

I tried one of these pouches for my elderly cat as she's become so picky. She liked it and it was a cream/tan color. Ignorantly, I purchased a case of these thinking

I tried one of these pouches for my elderly cat as she's become so picky. She liked it and it was a cream/tan color. Ignorantly, I purchased a case of these thinking I'd save money buying in bulk. This is the third pouch I've tried and it starts to come out the creamy color, but then it turns pinkish red. I'm not sure if that means it's bad or what, but my kitty won't eat these anymore. I'm not sure if I can even donate them because I don't want to give shelter kitties rotten food.

Our older cat had eating problems and the vet recommended trying liquid and pureed food/treats, which I did. One of the products was PureBites. Our younger cat was interested in tasting it, but no more. The older one sniffed at it, maybe from a distance of 3 inches, but didn't want to go closer. A few weeks later I tried again, with the same result. I have to conclude that our cats have no interest whatsoever in eating this product.
